PRP

PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is a concentrated mix of platelets and growth factors found in the bloodstream. A sample of your own blood is taken and centrifuged, and the PRP is extracted. This is one of the most natural treatments available. This PRP liquid is applied topically to your skin or injected underneath the skin. PRP is often used in combination with other aesthetic treatments to enhance results. PRP treatment may be applied on neck, hands, chest, back, and, generally, anywhere on the body.

In addition, PRP is often used to treat hair loss in some patients. Dr. Goldberg will determine if this method is right for you.

What to Know

Repeated treatments are recommended at 4-6 week intervals for a total of three to six treatments depending upon the condition for which a patient is receiving treatment.
